Ziggy Stardust Remixed: Glam Redux

So Ziggy Stardust walks into a bar…

…and the punchline? Well the bar is a sweaty, packed club, and Stardust finds himself in a "mashup" of sorts.

ATOM, A plus D, World Famous Audio Hacker, ToToM, and dj BC have remixed and mashed-up David Bowie’s classic The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album.

You can stream the music and watch a couple videos produced for the occasion by VJ Brewski and AJ ‘Hatperson’ Mazur online on the Ziggy Remixed website.

The results? Well, it’s a mixed bag. I could do without the mashup of "Stardust Kids," which employs Bowie’s vocals and the music from MGMT’s "Kids." And I suppose it depends what kind of Bowie fan you are. If you are a purist, you might want to consider ignoring this blog post altogether. However, if you are a little more open-minded, check out DJ BC’s "Sufferin’ Remix" of "Suffraggette City." Gold dust on the disco floor brilliant.
