And the technical headaches surrounding T.I.’s most recent prison stay continue. He was actually released from an Arkansas prison yesterday and moved to a halfway house to serve the remainder of his 11-month sentence. But according to CNN, his stint at that facility was short-lived because federal officials objected to his use of a tour bus as a means of being transported to an Atlanta halfway house.
Although officials wouldn’t disclose where the rapper was being transferred, CNN used an online inmate locator and found that he was indeed returned to a prison. As of the writing of this post, T.I. is residing in the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta.
CNN also had more details on the rapper’s planned reality series on VH1. The program still doesn’t have a name, but it will apparently run for 10 episodes following its premiere in December. As we previously reported, the basis for the show is showing how T.I. will again adjust to being a free man and how he plans to finally stay out of legal trouble.
