The Replacements’ Documentary Hitting Shelves In November

Last year, a documentary about seminal punk-lifers the Replacements made its debut on the festival circuit, wowing audiences and critics alike because, well, it’s about the Replacements and it’s hard to be bored by a band as volatile/good as they were. Now the doc–titled Color Me Obsessed–is making its way to DVD on November 20 via MVD Entertainment Group.

The film includes interviews with a number of the band’s notable musician fans: Craig Finn (duh), Colin Meloy, Tommy Ramone, Grant Hart, Patrick Stickles, etc. Also included are words from journalists like Greg Kot and Robert Christgau, actors (Tom Arnold, Dave Foley, George Wendt) and longtime civilian fans like you or me.

The DVD will also include 19 deleted scenes, complete interviews, and assorted behind-the-scenes peaks. Pre-order the DVD here, and watch the trailer below. [CoS]
