A tour bus that had allegedly been used by hip-hop star Fabolous was pulled over by police following the NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix this week. Fabolous wasn’t on the bus when the cops pulled the driver over, but a haul of 500 lbs of marijuana was impounded by the police. That stash was going to keep someone very, very high.
Fabolous wasn’t on the bus at the time of the bust, but two men on board, Edward Thimas and Robert Morris, claim the weed and the cash belong to the rap star. The bus driver claims he was traveling to Boston to pick up "a rapper whose name he couldn’t recall,” but it’s a wonder anyone can recall anything if they dived into the stash of cannabis on board.
Thimas and Morris both gave conflicting stories to the police and have been arrested on charges of possession. Fabolous, who is set to release his Loso’s Way album in April, hasn’t commented on the story and hasn’t yet faced any charges relating to the incident. [Boombox]
