OOIOO to tour the U.S.

Japanese noise-pop purveyor OOIOO has anounced plans for a brief U.S. tour in support of last year’s Taiga. This will be the band’s first trip to the U.S. since 2005, so demand should be high. Unless you happen to live in an “it” city or feel compelled to travel to one, you’re going to miss out. The lucky few, however, can catch Yoshimi P-We and company on the following dates:

03-20 New York, NY – Knitting Factory

03-21 Chicago, IL – Empty Bottle

03-23 Seattle, WA – Chop Seuy

03-24 Portland, OR – Doug Fir Lounge

03-26 San Francisco, CA – Independent

03-27 Los Angeles, CA – The Echo
