Big Boi, Terry Riley, Atlas Sound Added To Animal Collective ATP

The version of ATP curated by Animal Collective in the U.K. in May is already looking like one of the strongest lineups the organization has put together. Lee “Scratch” Perry, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, and Gang Gang Dance are among the acts announced to play, and now comes a second wave of artists added to the bill.

The biggest artist by a considerable distance is Big Boi, who will be joined at the festival by Terry Riley, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Atlas Sound, and Micachu and the Shapes. There are plenty of familiar Animal Collective acolytes at the event—Avey Tare’s sister, Abby Portner, plays in Drawlings; Tickley Feather, Prince Rama, Dent May, and Black Dice have all released tracks on the band’s Paw Tracks label; and Bradford Cox famously collaborated with Panda Bear on  “Walkabout.”

Tickets for the event are still on sale, and the various packages can be investigated via this link. The show takes place at Butlins Holiday Centre in Minehead over the weekend of May 13-15.
