John
grew up in
somewhere between
hip-hop and punk and
grunge wishing that his city had more to offer the national music scene than
Everclear. Soon Elliott Smith and the Dandy Warhols gave him something to be
proud of and showed him that there was a whole world of incredible music
beneath the radio waves. John moved to New York State for college and, after graduating,
followed the beaten path to New York City, where he lives as a music junkie and
works for a publisher of art books. John likes dogs carrying their own leashes,
pancakes and eggs, riding bikes, cold beer, lukewarm coffee, running down
hallways, the cold side of the pillow, snow forts, socks fresh from the dryer,
mom jokes, you.
