When Adam Webb-Orenstein was eight years old and in bed with a high fever, his father put headphones over his ears and made him listen to King Crimson's "In the Court of the Crimson King." Now he lives in a very small apartment in San Francisco with his girlfriend. Sometimes he thinks he is reinventing the cello and other times he thinks he just plays it very poorly. He also plays bass in a band. He has a record collection and a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
