Chris Lindsey lives in San Francisco's noble Tenderloin district and commutes daily to the inoffensively scented city of Santa Clara to write, edit, construct hierarchy in the music and porn sections of the steadfast Yahoo! Directory. Before that, Chris grew up in Pollock Pines, studied Literature at a state university, and taught 7th and 8th grade. When not at work, Chris plays the drums, buys useless shit, reviews the odd experimental noise album, goes to shows, and reviews said shows for...uh...Prefix Magazine! Chris' music interests were initially shaped by grunge and rave parties to include Nirvana, House, and Trance musics. Predictably enough, this led to an interest in IDM which then opened doors to Experimental Noise. Finally, Chris was able to return meeting the post-punk-type girls of his adolescence via a newfound interest in the experimental/post-punk combo commonly referred to as post-rock. Known for his good sense and sticktoitiveness, Chris prefers to eat rather than snort cocaine, citing its robust flavor and benefits to his constitution.
