Life 's a b***h then you die, that 's why you should strive. Cause you never know when you 're gonna go$
I can 't wait for Rakim 's new album to hit the stores. He is to me the greatest that ever embraced the game. And this is manifested through all the years of hard work and dedication that he has contributed. Even the late great Tupac Shakir admired the GOD. The best MCEES in the game gives RAKIM props, and NAS even dedicated an entire song to him in 2005. And for all those that did 'nt know RAKIM invented the style of scientific rhyming in 1986. He made it cool to be intelligent and to have an education and he never disrespects women in his music. Labeling women as QUEENS of the UNIVERSE. PEACE TO THE GOD $
I am a true listener of good music, especially hip hop. I always had a fascination of this form of art (hip hop) that reaches down deep within a soul. Original hip hop is all about self expression, having a good time and educating the masses. There is no such thing as gangster rap, there 's gangsters and there 's rappers. Official rappers (hip hop artists) are business orientated and are always thinking and making moves outside the box. Gangsters on the other hand are in a whole other ball game. I think that it 's unfortunate that many chose to label hip hop as a cause to violence, teenage pregnancy, and many other issues that plague our society. But, coming from a brother from New Jersey, who was raised in the trenches of the ghetto, during the adolescent yrs of hip hop. I was there when this form of art was bringing change to the less fortunate, uneducated and those who were burdened by the ills of society. And a manifestation of the strength that hip hop has is the growth and developement that it has been through. So for all you haters " HIP HOP IS HERE TO STAY".
