Supergrass (Might) Reform Soon

It was a dark day for Britpop fans when Oxford’s Supergrass split up last April after 17 years together. There is hope yet, though: ex-Supergrass bassist Micky Quinn believes that the band will “probably” reform soon, explaining to BBC News that he still gets along with his old bandmates and is confident that they will regroup at an indeterminate point in the future.

There’s no word yet on how this might effect Release the Drones (so titled because of its supposed krautrock and drone influences), the unreleased record Supergrass was working on when they split up.
