2008 was a banner year for Lil Wayne. It was the year he finally took his total saturation of the mixtape circuit to the charts. With his last solo outing, Tha Carter III, serving three million to date, Wayne could have just sat back and enjoyed his sudden celebrity. Instead, he started up Young Money Entertainment and assembled a cadre of hip-hop's most formidable mixtape veterans. Young Money Entertainment isn't just a charity project for Wayne's friends and family, though. These guys can actually rap. Young Money Fam features newly minted star Drake, Jae Millz, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine and others. Young Money Fam's hilariously crass lead single "Every Girl" is burning up the charts. Between this, Drake's Thank Me Later and Wayne's next album, Young Money Entertainment is poised for domination.
