Review

Yaz didn't stick around for long, but they were one of the greatest synth-pop outfits of the '80s. The duo of erstwhile Depeche Mode synth wizard Vince Clarke and singer Alison Moyet made a couple of seminal, stunning albums in the '80s and then split up, but they finally got back together for some live shows in 2008. The double album Reconnected Live is an audio document of that tour, and it finds Yaz deliver new live versions of classics like "Don't Go," "Situation," and "Nobody's Diary."
