Xasthur 2005 Demo

2005 Demo is just what its title suggests—two completed demos of Xasthur songs from 2005. Recorded right before the release of Xasthur's Subliminal Genocide, these tracks were lost, found, mastered, and released on Aaron Turner's respected Hydra Head Records. Malefic, the death metal icon behind Xasthur, is often considered one of the most extreme metal musicians working, and Sublimal Genocide is (arguably) his most accomplished record, making 2005 Demo a notable, if slight, release.
