Cool record with more hits than misses. Not different from Obsessed albums like Lunar Womb, Church Within. "Gods Frauds Neo-Cons Demagogues" is an awesome doomy instrumental. "Water Crane" is a moody lead guitar piece with a watery tone and exotic emotional phrasing. About 2 minutes into "Wild Blue Yonder" the group sticks to a groove a lot like Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" with some nice lead guitar work. "Eyes of the Flesh" is very sinister and almost hilarious but a great tune all and all. Wino's vocals sound a bit too much like he's trying to sound like an evil wizard cursing humanity from a hilltop. "Secret Realm Devotion" sounds amazing until the chorus, which is the gayest chorus in the history of Wino's corny lyrics and melodies, making it the second worst song on the album. The worst tune is "Smilin Road" which features a very corny verse lick and really bad lyrics that sound like a bad rip-off of Robert Plant's lyrics in LZ's Out on the Tiles. It's sad because Wino rips it up on guitar in Smilin Road, but gays it up vocally. Good album though.
