Share The Joy, the third album from Vivian Girls in three years, is the first to feature new drummer Fiona Campbell. Ali Koehler previously sat behind the kit, but she left the band to join Best Coast. With the addition of Campbell comes a slightly more accessible sound from these lo-fi garage-rockers from Brooklyn, who were previously known for harsher, noisier jams. But as made evident by lead single “I Heard You Say,” the Girls have allowed some sun to shine through while recording Share The Joy.
