Vitalic songs have been known to include some of the most aggressive and uplifting parts of electroclash, but the French electronic artist goes for a smoother approach on his latest album, Flashmob. According to the man himself, he used all different equipment and synthesizers than on 2005's OK Cowboy so that the two albums would not sound anything alike and to better achieve a smoother disco sound. Songs like "Poison Lips" and "See the Sea (Red)" still fall in line with the vibe of his other French peers, but carry Vitalic's distinctly nocturnal sound.
