It might not carry the prominence of say a Detox or Deltron Event II, but Vakill's long-awaited Armor of God is just as notorious as those albums in underground circles. His previous projects, such as 2006's Worst Fears Confirmed, have been met with critical acclaim. And, you see, his third record has been delayed time and time again, with its track listing appearing July 2009 with the promise that it would drop soon. It didn't. Then, in late 2010, the Chicago rapper again provided a due date, this time of spring 2011, via a trailer for Armor of God. As the video displays, Vakill clearly hasn't lost his passion for spitting as he rhymes fiercely a cappella. On the record, though, he's backed by production from the Molemen crew of Memo, Panik, and PNS, who carry a grimy, streets-friendly sound.
