If you've subjected yourself to the first film in the Twilight saga, you might have burst into laughter when Radiohead's "15 Step" awkwardly played over the film's end credits, but you probably didn't forsee that that might relate to the next film's soundtrack. According to New Moon director Chris Weitz, Radiohead, Bon Iver, Muse, and Band of Skulls have signed on to original songs for the movie's soundtrack, as well as the Used. So there you have it, Weitz has managed to assemble a collection of bands who you probably never thought would be billed on the same piece of work, and music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who supervised the first Twilight soundtrack, and whose label Chop Shop Music is releasing the New Moon soundtrack, continues her extended joke on every other person in possession of an internet connection.
