Regardless of your opinions about TV's One Tree Hill, you've got to give it up to Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols, two of the show's stars, who organized Gasoline Rainbows, a benefit album to aid communities hurt by the BP oil spill in the Gulf. Bush and Nichols pulled together an impressive array of artists to contribute to the worthy cause, including Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, The National, Damien Rice, Silversun Pickups, Black Rebel Motorcycle club, and many more. All profits from sales of the digital-only compilation will be routed to the appropriate charity.
