Uffie first came on the scene with "Pop the Glock," which started floating around the Internet and house parties in 2006. Four years later, that single leads off her much-delayed debut album, but critics and fans claim that her role as Vocoder princess has been ceded to Ke$ha in the intervening years. The Miami-born, Paris-dwelling Uffie (known to her parents as Anna-Catherine Hartley) is a somewhat more stylized club girl, though, and Sex, Dreams and Denim Jeans comes out on French nu-rave label Ed Banger, also home to Justice and DJ Mehdi. The album features guest work from Pharrell, the Rapture's Mattie Safer, Mr. Oizo and Mirwais, who's best known for his production work with Madonna in the first half of the '00s. Somewhere in the middle of all that, Uffie also manages to slip in a cover of Siouxsie Sioux's "Hong Kong Gardens."
Wait, is her album comming out at the end of this year? 2010?

June 8 is correct. It was suppose to state "2010" but it was showing 12/28/10. Our fault.
