One of L.A.'s finest "leaders of the new school," the duo of U-N-I rose to prominence with 2009's solid A Love Supreme. Their previous effort, Fried Chicken and Watermelon, was equally noteworthy, but something about their sophomore street album/mixtape resonated more with listeners and the music world. It was so successful that Y-O and Thurzday went back to work with producer Ro Blvd. to deliver a deluxe version of A Love Supreme. This 2.0 version features five brand new tracks, with guests such as Bun B and Fashawn, and a full-length DVD chronicling how this album came to be. Also included on the DVD are six music videos and live footage of their sets at Bumbershoot and the Key Club.
