Trouble Andrew Dreams of a Troubled Man

Trevor Andrew, aka Trouble Andrew, made an annoying mini-splash in early 2009 with the release of his self-titled debut. It became clear then that he didn't really have the charm or talent of his ladyfriend, Santogold, but Andrew wasn't about to let some harsh criticisms slow his down. He threw together the Trouble Gang Mixtape amidst sessions for his sophomore effort, 2011's Dreams of a Troubled Man. He's also spent time changing his style a bit. It's not all crunk, bro-rock on here, which Andrew made evident on subdued, punk-ish lead single, "New Kid."
