Only natural then that Canadian electronic artist Tim Hecker's sixth full-length album would have been recorded in a church in Reykjavik, Iceland and centered around recordings of a pipe organ. If Hecker's most recent album, 2009's An Imaginary Country, were any indication Ravedeath, 1972 would be rich with ambient textures.
