Third Eye Blind's fifth studio album, Ursa Minor, is one of those things where the band recorded so much material during the sessions for their previous album, Ursa Major, that they decided they were ready to release a follow-up in no time flat. This usually indicates that the album will be made up of studio-leavings, but Third Eye Blind guitarist Tony Fredianelli suggests otherwise: "Both of these records [Ursa Major and Ursa Minor] to me are very strong, especially the first one, because we really bled for them." Wow, that's a relief. The blood will probably stop this record from being lackluster. Thank God.
