The Sword Warp Riders

The Sword comes thundering in for more with their third album, Warp Riders, continuing to carry the torch of classic metal into the 21st century. The Austinites worked with an outsider producer for the first time, entrusting their hard-charging sound to Matt Bayles (Pearl Jam, Mastodon, Isis). Amping up their ambitions, The Sword created a full-fledged concept album, described by their label as a "psychedelic space opera" with an "epic science-fiction narrative." That's all well and good, but how long do we have to wait for the video game?
