The Streets Computers And Blues
Computers and Blues is reportedly the final album that Mike Skinner will make under the Streets moniker. On the website for the album, Skinner describes it variously as "45 minutes of 130 bpm style straight spittin'," "dancing music to drink tea to," and "influenced by the future." Leading up to its release, Skinner distributed several tracks via his Twitter account, saying "I can't be bothered with all this trying to sell you music. It wastes valuable time." Whether or not these tracks will be included on the album, they make it clear that he is trying to steer his project back toward the Original Pirate Material glory days before he calls it quits.

I sometimes can't believe how much I loved this guy at one point.
Where's this album? I need something to fix what he's done with the last two albums. While "Hardest Way" wasn't terrible by any means, it wasn't great either...it wasn't OPM or AGDCFF, but the last album was garbage. Hearing "Trust Me" gave me pretty good feelings towards the new content, but I thought the others were terrible, so if we can get a little more "Trust Me" and less "Love My Phone" on this one, that'd be great...
Since I've not heard anything about a Feb 23 release except from Prefix, anyone else have insight on the release date?

Just changed the date to 2010. We have yet to receive an update on the release date.
Fear that we will never quite get another OPM or AGDCFF which is a real shame - the last album was good but not legendary like the first two. Forget the good times, I wanna hear about the bad times with a grimy beat and some MikeSkinner poetry over the top!
