Murmur is an EP follow-up to the Sight Below’s (otherwise known as one reclusive multi-instrumentalist who prefers to remain unnamed) full-length 2008 debut, Glider. Ambient sound in hand, the Sight Below uses the influences of Wolfgang Voight and his Gas moniker, looping synths and droning guitar noises into melancholic reverb and delay. Murmur contains two remixes from Glider, “At First Touch” (edited by Simon Scott of Slowdive) and “No Place For Us,” along with two new tracks: “Murmur” and “Wishing Me Asleep.” The limited edition version of the EP contains an additional remix of “The Sunset Passage.”
