This magnum opus from the Microphones was originally released way back in 2001. My, how time flies. That year, Pitchfork christened The Glow Pt. 2 the best album of ’01. Consider this reissue The Glow Pt. 2 pt. 2. The album has been doubled in size from twenty tracks to forty spread over two CDs (or three LPs, for you vinyl fetishists). That means double the simple yet searching sonic masterpieces from Phil Elverum, who also records under the guise of Mount Eerie.
