The Impossible Shapes is quite the conglomeration of a band. The neo-psych group is made up of musicians who play in other Bloomington, Indiana-based bands including Magnolia Electric Company and the Coke Dares. (Who knew Bloomington had such a thriving music scene, right?) Songwriter Chris Barth immerses himself in the mystical and magical, as witnessed on tunes such as "Infinity's Lips," "Dreamspeak," and "Our Secret Operation." There might be a message behind allt he madness, or that might just be the drugs talking.
