The immediate reaction when you look at the album title for The Game's fourth album is that it's paying homage to his roots as a member of the Bloods street gang, but in actuality, it's short for "rededicated," as in being rededicated to the things that matter like hip hop, family, Los Angeles, etc. This is also the guy who said he was going to retire after his third album, so do whatever you may with that explanation. The R.E.D. Album also marks a return to Interscope, the label that released his first album before a beef with fellow labelmate 50 Cent caused him to release his two following albums on Geffen. The album features collaborations with Lil' Wayne and Gucci Mane and production from Maestro, Cool & Dre and JR Rotem.
