Review

As long as Ataris frontman Kris Roe's heart is beating, it would seem that mall punk will never ever die. He has done everything in his power to make sure that The Ataris sixth album, The Graveyard of the Atlantic, sees release, including parting ways with every member of the band who played on 2007's Welcome the Night. Apparently, Kris Roe is the Ataris in much the same way that Axl Rose is Guns N' Roses.

-and you're a jackass like Axl Rose. don't trash talk unless you fully understand the situation. maybe you should write for punknews.org, you would fit right in with the rest of the writers who only know how to give petty cheap-shots.

i guess it's easy to bash someone who's had more success than you ever will. don't run your mouth unless you fully understand the situation.
you should write for punknews.org. they're also known for petty cheap-shots.

Well, he makes a valid point. Kris Roe abandoned everyone prior to Welcome to the Night. And when that flopped he abandoned everyone from that record as well. Its not really that hard of a situation to understand. You can't tell everyone that you will refuse to play Teenage Riot every again and expect your long term fans support a record like Welcome to the Night. If Kris really wanted to grow up and evolve, he should have started from scratch with a new band. Welcome to the Night is not an Ataris record as far as I consider it. Its vain and not fun. That's not what the Ataris are in my heart.

I agree with that! So disppointing. He should've started a new band
