Glad to see Moxham still keeps it in the family. Known primarily for co-founding and playing guitar with his brother, cousin and friend in the seminal UK why-bother-describing-them-just-get-their-bloody-seminal-debut Young Marble Giants, Moxham is joined by his father, daughter and friend/violinist for his latest solo outing. Despite the album reportedly being a collection of works from the past 30-odd years, Moxham has kept busy of late recording other solo albums (2007's Huddle House with Louis Philippe) and performing with the reunited Young Marble Giants. With Personal Best, Moxham promises the album will be a "sampler of things to come." Right on, bro!
