Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks Mirror Traffic

Rumors of a collaboration between Stephen Malkmus and Beck began swirling in May 2010, though no one was quite sure where their work together would end up. Part of the reason for that is Malkmus was busy playing reunion shows with his old band, Pavement. But it turns out that they were working on Malkmus' fifth album with the Jicks, Mirror Traffic. Hansen produced the entire project, which is the last to feature Sleater-Kinney's Janet Weiss on drums. It's the Jicks' first since 2008's Real Emotional Trash.
