Smoke DZA's reach began to extend beyond that of the rap blogosphere in August 2010 with the release of his very good George Kush Da Button mixtape, which eventually turned into a proper album. His stock continued to rise less than a year later thanks to 2011's The Hustlers Catalog, which paved the way for DZA's first straight-to-iTunes release in Rolling Stoned. As its title (and his name) implies, expect plenty of weed references along with an equal amount of shit talking and sociopolitical insights.
