Slayer’s never-say-die attitude yielded another album in the summer of 2009, making it the band’s tenth studio release since forming in the early 1980s. With Rick Rubin at the helm, the band wrote and recorded the album almost entirely in the studio. What this says about the quality of and commitment to the material is debatable, yet theses thrash gods perfected their formula some time ago, so its doubtful that anything they do would stray too far from what got them to the top of the mountain in the first place. Released as a limited-edition seven-inch in March for record store day, the album’s brutal, hardcore-tinged first single “Psycopathy Red” hits with all the urgency and ferocity of Reign in Blood.

I've seen at a website called Chaos that the Japanese Export version is to be released on the 19th of August. Any truth in that?
