Skyzoo A Dream Deferred

It took about half a decade for this Brooklyn MC to make his proper debut. But in 2009, Skyzoo made his official entrance into the industry with The Salvation, a sprawling blend of storytelling and braggadocio. And rather than make his fans wait another long stretch for a follow-up, he began working on two separate projects. First, he hit the studio with producer Illmind to craft Live From the Tape Deck, a return to the rapper's mixtape roots. But Skyzoo also began crafting The Salvation's true follow-up with A Dream Deferred, a record he says touches on more serious topics and real life issues.
