Napa Asylum (Drag City) is Sic Alps' double-album follow-up to their 2008 release, U.S. Ez. Though Napa Asylum finds the San Francisco noise-pop band slowing down more often to explore the psychedelic shades of their sound, Sic Alps' raw, unsettling lo-fi aesthetic remains. Considering their penchant for wedding memorable hooks to blistering sonic experimentation, it's unsurprising that Sic Alps were tapped to play the Pavement-curated 2010 ATP Festival prior to release of Napa Asylum.
