Shy Child plays music that begs for attention: loud, fun, hip, danceable. The duo consists of Pete Cafarella, who sings and plays keyboards, and Nate Smith, who mans the drums. Noise Won't Stop was produced in most part by Paul Epworth, who has worked with the Rapture and Bloc Party. Also on board was producer Chris Zane (Asobi Seksu, Les Savy Fav), who helmed Shy Child's first album, 2004's One with the Sun. Spank Rock adds his spastic lyrics to "Kick Drum." Available in Europe since last year, Noise Won't Stop is getting a U.S. release via Olympia, Washington's ever-diversifying Kill Rock Stars.
