Shapes and Sizes Candle to Your Eyes

Shapes and Sizes, the Canadian quartet from Victoria, British Columbia, relocated to Montreal about three years ago and finally took a break from incessant touring. Does that mean their third record, Candle To Your Eyes, has an air of domesticity? Hardly, but the group has certainly taken the time to stretch out their sound. Working with expansive noodlers like Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (A Silver Mt. Zion, Tim Hecker) and David Bryant (Growing, Set Fire To Flames), the group has developed a less frenetic vision.
