Longtime New Jersey pop-punkers Saves the Day are following their last two albums, Sound the Alarm and Under the Boards, with a new set called Daybreak. Together, the three albums will make a trilogy for the band, which they say "continues the story of self-discovery that began with Sound the Alarm." The big change on this, their seventh record, is in personnel, since this will be their first record since 1998's Can't Slow Down that will not feature guitarist Dave Soloway. But, even with new guitarist Arun Bali joining Saves the Day, Daybreak should continue the band's steady move towards a moodier, more pop-oriented sound, while sticking to the heart-on-sleeve lyrics these guys have been churning out for years.

1. The track listing is messed up.
2. May I ask HOW exactly you know this album will be released on Dec. 29 when the band has not yet set a release date?

Chris Collum

thanks Chris. There was a glitch in the system for the release date and track list.
