The time between releases has grown steadily since Sade debuted in 1984 with Diamond Life. While the band kept their output steady through 1992's Love Deluxe, their fans began to play the waiting game from then on. It would be eight years before Lovers Rock and then another decade before Soldier of Love dropped in 2010. And even though The Ultimate Collection isn't necessarily a proper effort, it's arriving a lot quicker than Sade diehards are used to. The compilation includes a slew of fan favorites from Lovers Rock and Soldier of Love along with four new, never-before-heard tunes. The biggest of those is a remix of "The Moon and the Sky" that features a guest verse from Jay-Z.
