Review

The idea of hip-hop album sequels was rejuvenated in 2009 when Raekwon dropped his stellar Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt. II. It not only lived up to its namesake, but it revamped Rae's legacy by making us forget about his previous blunders. Perhaps former Brand Nubian Sadat X is looking to do the same with Wild Cowboys II, the sequel to his 1996 solo debut. This also marks the seventh studio album from this New York MC. And he's joined on here by guests who will help recreate the rawness of his debut. Mos Def and Vast Aire are two of the several featured MCs while Sadat has received beats from Diamond D, Pete Rock, and Money Boss Minnesota.
