Rye Rye had already been making waves thanks to her work with like-minded Bmore club-rap enthusiast Blaqstarr. But it wasn't until she linked with M.I.A. that Rye Rye would be thrust to the next level. The two actually appeared on several tracks together, though they were mostly remixes such as "Paper Planes" and M.I.A.'s take on "Tic Toc" by Busy Signal. Their pairing soon led to Rye Rye's signing to Interscope and M.I.A.'s N.E.E.T. label, which is the home for this Baltimore native's proper debut, Go! Pop! Bang!. No word yet on who will be featured on here, but expect M.I.A. to stop by along with Blaqstarr.
