Table of Contents
Three guys. Six songs. A whole hell of a lot of rock. Those are the elements that make up Station, the second Russian Circles full-length and first for Suicide Squeeze, after 2006's Enter was released by Flameshovel. One thing you won't hear here, however, is the human voice. The Chicago-based group plays instrumentals that fall somewhere on the spectrum between math rock and full-bore metal. Core Circles Mike Sullivan (guitar) and Dave Turncrantz (drums) were joined on the album by bassist Brian Cook, who used to play with Botch and is currently in These Arms are Snakes. Matt Bayles, who has worked with Mastodon, produced Station.
