Jay-Z recently declared Auto-Tune dead, but nobody told Ron "EtherBoy" Browz. The guy has been making a killing off the stuff. He's no flash in the pan, though. Browz has enjoyed a decade-long career providing production for a long list of hip-hop luminaries. His résumé includes hits from Nas, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes and many more. The oft-delayed EtherBoy is Browz's first major label solo venture. While Jay-Z's bold indictment of Browz's instrument of choice may or may not be responsible for sending this record into a temporary limbo, EtherBoy's singles, "Pop Champagne," "Jumping (Out the Window)" and "20 Dollars," have proved to be ubiquitous club smashes, hammering their simple, accessible refrains home with dogged determination.
Come on Ron we're waiting. And Ron, don't throw your autotune stuff out. I don't like autotune usually, don't like t-pain or when lil wayne does it or whatever, but you are an off-key genius with it. More stuff like arab money and jumpin, come on!
