I Often Dream of Trains in New York is a 2008 live recording of the majority of Robyn Hitchcock’s 1984 album, I Often Dream of Trains. Recorded at Symphony Space in New York, the album accompanies a DVD of the performance directed by John Edington (The Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett Story), which originally aired on the Sundance Channel. Accompanied by two members of the original Trains tour and a few new guests, Hitchcock recreates one of his darkest and quirkiest albums.
