Robin Zander has been the frontman for power-pop/classic-rock legends Cheap Trick since the '70s, but until Countryside Blvd., the singer's only solo outing was a self-titled 1993 album. Countryside Blvd., however, is sort of a band project in disguise, in which Zander teams up with some of Nashville's finest musicians for an album full of -- you guessed it -- country-flavored tunes, mostly penned by the rock hero himself.
