Songs To Help My Children Sleep is a four-track EP that follows Robin Guthrie’s spring release of the Angel Falls EP, both of which are accompanying pieces to the full-length, Carousel. The former Cocteau Twins’ guitarist presents four original tracks on Songs (that do not appear on Carousel) set to his usual moody, dreamlike shoegaze, but with a more autumnal ambiance than Angel Falls.

Just listened to this 5 times on the trot, and each time it gets better; it simply carries you off to a different (better) place... soporific and hypnotic, elegant, chiming, shimmering, uplifting, distant... extraordinarily beautiful.
