At the very least, Rated R's album title signals that Rihanna's sticking with the edgy image that she's cut out for herself, and that she digs obvious album titles. Helping Rihanna jack up the explicit content what not are Ryan Tedder (Mr. Explicit Content, obviously), Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Pharrell, and Soulja Boy. Thus far, it seems that there's no reason why Rihanna shouldn't remain one of the hottest properties in pop music.

The album is really good. Very cohesive dark, melodic pop that even has a few dubstep influenced tracks in the mix. a welcome surprise |
